I’ve been rocking this case for about a week and it is a tank most people when they pick up my phone. They say it feels like a straight up solid tactical case but also a brick at the same time personally, I don’t feel the weight of it also for those who have issues with the main screw that holds the case together backing out over time add a little purple thread lock and you’ll be good to go.
I’m really happy with this cell phone case. This is my third one. I’ve had one for the last two iPhones, and I’ve been really happy with them, but I think this is the best one yet!!
It is a big cell phone case. Makes the phone seem really wide with the frame installed, but I don’t mind my ridge mag safe wallet fits on the back perfect. Had to add an additional mag safe magnet on the back of case, but it works phenomenal. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!!

Well. I have been seeing these for a long time and decided to give it a try since it was on sale. The inner silicon case it comes with isn’t great. It does its job, but the main issue is that the camera button is NOT covered. This actually is 2 issues… 1- the camera button is very hard to push with their inner case. It’s almost impossible to use the slide feature on the button itself. 2- The case is wide open where the camera button is. I fixed this by using the Apple Silicon case which brings the button up a tad so you can push it. I’ll check back in a bit when I get some wear on it and see how it holds up. I do wish it was just a tad thinner over all, but it looks and feels like a tank. I do not think it effects it too much, but a notch on the top where the ear speaker is, would be nice.

This is a second purchase backup Dango Adapt Case - iPhone 17 Pro Max, plan on a few years before another iPhone model upgrade.
5/5 overall I am mind blown at the quality of all the materials this phone case is constructed with. The slight additional weight of the case it self acts only as a reminder of the protection and presence this phone case offers. The feeling I get every time I pick up my phone is not only addictive it’s now bliss. It’s hard to describe and honestly kinda weird how much I’m in love with this phone case, however there are two slight draw backs. Firstly the single screw holding the whole case together needs to have some kind of locked position. I find my self constantly having to tighten the screw. Lastly I wish Dango offered more customization in at least the soft shell part of the case. Maybe even a whole pallet of colors to choose from to go more with an individuals style or iPhone color. Those two minor negatives aside the Dango iPhone 17 pro max case is outstanding and I highly recommend it. Well worth the price tag and the amount of compliments I get about this case leaves me feeling like some VIP. THANK YOU DANGO YOU GUYS ROCK! MUCH LOVE <3
The Adapt Case iPhone 17 Pro Max case slots inside edges - secure grip with lanyard holes - are sharp and I expect the Dango Paracords / lanyards will get cut through over time with the Dango Paracords / lanyards movement in the sharp interior edge slots. A very impressive case which I really like apart from the slot interior edges. I added the A10 Elements Special Edition Carbon Fiber, then an ESR glue on magnetic ring, then a Dango MagSafe Wallet that has the aluminum frame - each successive layer onto the A10 Phone Adapter with the removable magnetic compatible steel plate attached to the Dango Adat Case iPhone 17 Pro Max
I like the case as the metal frame brings a edc vibe to the case, but I am not a big fan of the silicone inner case as it attracts lint.
However, with a bit of creativity, I am able to use other similar cases of similar dimensions as the inner case, hence bringing a fresh look.
If I am to nitpick, I would appeal to Dango to consider developing more designs and different materials for the inner case for greater customisation.
The 17 pro max is already hefty but this case doesn’t make it much heavier, you can tell it’s really nice quality, I really wish they made these in ultem just bc of the sheer beauty of polished and unpolished ultem, overall beautiful case that’s very easy to install, wish there were more solid colors to choose from 🙏🏼👊🏼 keep up the great work y’all!
My first purchase from Dango! The Adapt case is a beast! Very light considering the relative size. Super secure. The aluminum is coated smoothly, so it doesn’t have the tackiness I’m used to with my cases, but the shape provides a lot of places to grip. Hard to explain, but I’m dropping it way less than my ‘tacky’ cases! It’s made in the US, service was great, and the item is everything I hoped it would be! Easy 5 stars! Another great American brand I’ll keep buying from!
Hands down the best case I’ve bought and I’ve purchased several cases. I get a lot of comments how great it looks. For the price I promise there isn’t a better case.
