We wanted to build a wallet that is lighter, thinner, more minimal yet holds a lot. The M1 Lite adopts some of Dango's previous predecessors like the M1 Spec-Ops and the M1 Rail Wallet. The M1 Lite is one of our most compact vertical access wallets.
The M1 Lite chassis is coated with Cerakote bringing the machined aluminum to the next level. On one side of the M1 Wallet is Dango's patented Rail System which can hold up to 4 cards. Bolted on the opposite side of the chassis is the traditional M1 water resistant DTEX bifold pocket which can hold up to an extra 8-10 cards depending on card thicknesses.
The Maverick Lite can hold up to a total of 10-13 cards comfortably and some cash and extra small items, making it one of Dango's most efficient wallets! A new feature on this wallet is a secret cash cavity that is built into the center of the chassis. It can hold up to 10 bills folded, some coins and other small EDC items.
Included with the DTEX bifold pocket is the MT01 Clasp Multi-tool which has a built in bottle opener, 1/4" wrench, a small phillips screw driver, a small flat head screwdriver and chisel. As a clasp, the MT01 keeps your wallet secured and tidy. Also included with this offering is the Dango RFID Secured Card to keep your RFID information protected when placed next to your most sensitive cards.
The M1 LITE is compatible with all M-Series style leather and DTEX pockets. Add-ons and accessories for the M-Series are also compatible with the M1 Lite such as:
M1 Silicone Wallet Bands, Dango Pocket Clip for cash, Badge Holder and more!

Widen wallet rails so cards can go in smoothly. I understand there has to be a firm grip so they don't fall out but it shouldn't be a fight to get cards in and out either
It has a great design and is very easy to use—I really like it. Above all, the after-sales service from the manufacturer is outstanding. I’ve already decided that my next wallet will be from this brand as well.
Overall pretty good wallet.Alittle stiff getting cards out since wallet is new.While unboxing I noticed one screw
came loose in top left corner of wallet.May have been a flaw in manufacturing no biggie a little super glue and Allen wrench solved that problem quickly.That was the only reason I gave it 4 stars was for the screw.As far as material and the little buckle that slides in the slot to secure the wallet and cc cards it’s 5 stars.good job on quality I think
I’ve had a dango wallet a loooongggg time ago and i acquired so many cards I outgrew it so I purchased another wallet but found myself looking at dango wallets and fell in love with this bi fold wallet. I had to add the band for additional key cards for work and the money clip. Best wallet I’ve ever owned.
One of the screw sets for the rail was stripped so the wallets rail doesn't compress completely to hold the cards in. Trying to see if I can get this fixed before I leave the US!
I like the slim form factor and the rail system. It is nice to have the area under the rails to carry cash. The metal frame is starting to chip on the edges after a few months of use. Other than that, it has held up pretty well.
For me personally, I believe The M1 Lite “IS THE ONE!!!!!!!” It’s sooooooooo light weight! So fabulously functional for the way I carry!!! I’ve loved them all! But, at least for now, THIS ONE, is my go to carry! Keep building amazing products DANGO! 🙋🏽♂️🙂✌🏾
Have the M1 Lite and love most of the features. The wallet looks great and functions well. I really love the organization of my cards with it. It holds my military ID and DL in separate but easily accessible locations. My only 2 complaints are that the finish is rubbed off one of the sides of the metal and I have only had the wallet for 2 weeks, and when trying to use the bottle opener it bent the tool quite a bit. Maybe I am doing it wrong, so that may be my fault. All in all, I would recommend the wallet highly. And lastly, to be fair, I did not reach out to customer service, I just dealt with it.
Great and beautifull wallet ! The clasp takes some getting used to as at first i was using a d01 batwing single pocket but after a while its more efficient to take cards out especially if you keep 3 or more in the rails and it has more pockets for multiple id's
This is my edc wallet for normal office days (soon to be replaced by the m1 lite blackout) please release a gray or slate gray version
Absolutely the best wallet I’ve ever owned. I was a Vuitton guy for many years until I discovered the Dango. It’s well designed and extremely accommodating to my wallet needs. I was so impressed I own the whole series!! A, D, T and M series and the 007 versions. Thanks Dango.
This is my second purchase. I think i bought the first one about 4 or 5 years ago, and it finally got to a point where i needed to replace it. I will buy again in another 4 or 5 years.
I love this wallet. It’s my 4th Dango and favorites. It’s my second M1 Lite. The finish wears off way too soon and looks bad. My Maverick and A10 still look new and I’ve had them for years. The M1 Lite finish didn’t last 6 months. The other issue is the M1 Lite is offered only in a bifold. I don’t want a bifold so I had to waste money on the bifold to get the frame and then the added purchase of the single rawhide pocket. It’s still me favorite wallet but you need to make some changes to make it better. The finish should be anodized and it should be offered in both bifold and single.

I have always been pretty traditional with leather bifold wallets but I thought I would give this a try and I love. The layout is great and the construction is great.
