The M1 Spec-Ops combines CNC Machined 6061 aerospace aluminum with our very own developed DTEX material; a fine mixture of an industrial "bullet-proof" chassis with a wallet skin that is resilient, flexible and water resistant. The surface of the M1 chassis is ceramic coated with Cerakote - a firearms industry standard ceramic paint tough enough to withstand rough handling. The metal RFID blocking card cavity can hold up to 6 cards depending on card thicknesses.
The M1 Spec-Ops Single Pocket variant comes with its pairing high carbon, heat treated stainless steel MT04 Multi-Tool which has over 10 functions which are specifically designed to respond to emergency situations. The functions of the multi-tool include: a seat belt cutter, serrated/sharpened edges, chisel, 2 paracord tensioners, an O2 oxygen wrench, nail pryer, standard 1/4" inch hex wrench, and of course, a bottle opener. The MT04 Multi-Tool slides into the metal cavity where the cards sit and is nested securely onto the safety locks on the chassis.

I am LOVING this wallet! So this is my 5th wallet from Dango. Such cool company to offer such a variety of EDC!
So I grabbed the OD Green M1 tactical, then in Dango fashion, started adding accessories to make it exactly what I need on a daily basis. From previous reviews, I mentioned I liked having multiple multi-tools in the wallet for those random or last minute needs when you got nothing but your wallet. So after all the accessories, it's now sporting the black M1 rails, MT03 tool, MT04 tool, MC02, and a lil EDC bead for the last lil touch. A little bit of shock chord holds the MC02 on the wallet and really doesn't add a ton of thickness to the overall wallet. Way thinner profile that my last setup (A10 w/ bifold, MT05 w/ holster, MT03 w/ clip, and the pocket clip). Let's just say that was a THICK boy in the front pocket! This is MUCH thinner and not nearly as heavy. Thanks DANGO!
I tried adding a photo but for some reason it won't let me. Anyway. Ive had this model for about 6 years now and its going strong. I take it everywhere and its in my pocket on the streets of Houston Patrol. Its been in fights, foot chases through the woods and bayous. The ID slot is pretty beat up on the part that is not riveted and is a little worn but the rivets are still holding fabric and my ID is still held in place. The elastic band is worn but holding strong the black cerekote coming is scratched beaten and rubbed off all over but the wallet is still holding my cards and doing its job. Its a monster. 10/10 Would Recommend!
This thing is built like a tank! Super glad I pulled the trigger and order it. Pretty tight on the id side.. drivers license, concealed cars, and mil id. Reverse side is tight as well... Two credit cards and RFID card fills it up. I ordered the external carriage but have not installed it yet. Learning to go more minimal and keep the housing thin and sleek. Add the lanyard and you are not going to regret your purchase. I love this wallet! I was so tired of cards falling out. They will not fall out of this one!
Had a little issue with the DTEX material (slightly peeling), which I noticed upon unpackaging my new wallet, took some pictures and sent to the Dango Customer Support Team. Shout out to Rachel for getting back to me immediately and sending out a DTEX replacement to install.
I'm loving the new wallet and get lots of compliments on it. The product is very high quality, but Rachel made the experience even better!
I will definitely be returning for more goodies in the near future.
This has been my favorite wallet by far. I’m going to order the badge clip and the bifold attachment. Only issue is the green powdercoat is already coming off.
